Oracle Database Administrator

Description
In this position you will assist our customers with the design, administration, optimization, and modernization of their Oracle databases. You will work closely with JSA2 team member on all aspects of application development.

Required Skills

• Two plus years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Ability to contribute to several large scale projects simultaneously.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Outstanding SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Oracle DBA certification.
• Oracle tools experience: JDeveloper, APEX, Reports
• Solid networking / connectivity skills (TCP/IP, JDBC)
• Experience with AIX, Unix, Linux
• BS Computer Science or related degree.

Desired Skills

• Multi-terabyte OLTP 24x7 database experience.
• RAC design and high availability production support.
• Experience in commercial software application development.
• Experience in shell and Perl (or other scripting languages).
• Prior support, tuning, optimization of large scale Oracle Applications or SAP installations.
• Experience with Subversion.
• Experience z/OS and z/Linux a plus
